About Us

Our Story

Redeemer Covenant Church is a Reformed Baptist congregation in Arlington, Ohio, united by a common faith in Christ and a commitment to the truths of Scripture.

Who We Are

A Covenant Community

We are a congregation of believers who have been brought together by the sovereign grace of God. Our church is founded on the conviction that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God, the only rule for faith and practice.

As a Reformed Baptist church, we hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a faithful summary of what Scripture teaches. This historic confession connects us to centuries of faithful Christians who have gone before us, confessing the same truths.

We believe the local church is central to God's purposes in the world. The church is not merely a gathering of individuals, but a covenant community bound together by mutual commitment to Christ and one another.

What Guides Us

Our Core Values

Biblical Authority

We are committed to the authority, sufficiency, and clarity of Scripture. The Bible alone is our final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Gospel-Centered

The gospel of Jesus Christ is central to everything we do. We preach Christ crucified and risen, the only hope for sinners.

Covenant Community

We are committed to one another in love, bearing each other's burdens and building one another up in the faith.

Our Confession

The 1689 London Baptist Confession

We subscribe to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, also known as the Second London Confession. This confession was written by Particular Baptists in England and has served as a faithful summary of Reformed Baptist doctrine for over three centuries.

While we hold this confession as a valuable and accurate summary of biblical teaching, we recognize that Scripture alone is our ultimate authority. The confession serves as a tool for teaching, accountability, and unity.
